Hi i have purchased HP laptop dv 9700 in 2008.
then i faced many problems with this laptop. it stopped working in 2010 and i have to pay 4500/- Rs. to repair it.
now recently in it stopped working completely, when i get it for repair technician told me that it's motherboard is gone.
so i searched on internet and came to know that there is a manufacturing defect in HP laptops of my series and they settle free repair or replacement for it, but i was not notify about it anytime. when i contacted them they told me that it's not possible to repair or replace it because it is out of warranty.
but if they have initially gave us faulty laptop then how can they excuse us with warranty.
i want to know legally what can i do to fix this issue.
