Non nDelivery of LPG Refill Cylindres

The Agents of the INDANE GAS Company are not giving their services promptly. They engineer various ways to harass people. In order to book your gas connection (New One) all you need is to give your ID and Address proof and that could be Your Driving License/Pan Card/Ration card/or any such Photo ID and as a proof of address it could be Rent agreement or Receipt/Electricity Bill/Water Bill/Building Documents but the Company agent ask only ration Card. Is it not ridiculous?

A person having Gas connection, if does not book or take gas cylinder delivery for six months they presume that the person has left and the cancel the connection and when he goes for booking his gas lapsing 6 months they don't book their LPG and will say your gas connection to be revived again for which they will ask for original Deposit receipt and Ration card once again. How can they cancel the gas connection on their presumption that the party has left when the deposit of the consumer is lying with you. Until the consumer altogether requests you to cancel the connection how can you cancel it on your whims and fancy. Is not it malaise? A person can book his cylinder in a month or two or three or six or eight months, why the Gas Company imposes such unreasonable conditions. A consumer can book his cylinder according to his convenience. Why the Company should impose weird conditions on consumers. Is it a law? If so can any body quote me the same?
