This summer's we went to Bhimtal (NAINITAL). During my Lake tour we have visited to J&K Handloom House, Bhimtal & purchased Kashmir Ice Kidi (so called made of raw pashmina) with five other gifts. We have paid Rs.10800 200 for it and they are promised that we will get refund of Rs.8600/- plus five additional gifts on returning the main Kashmir blanket after 2 yrs. They assured us that all my documents related to deal will be delivered to me within 40 days from 12-06 (i.e. date of purchase) at my residential address but till to-date I have not yet received any document from them in spite of my so many phone calls on 918126258571.
Now, I think these are all frauds & I am cheated by shopkeeper. I believe their stories of refund the amount of Rs.8600/- after two years is completely bluff. I request Govt. of Kasmir & Uttarakhand should take very strict steps to stop these illegal activities in a tourist place in the interest of tourist. This is also a shame for Government. Atleast consumer court should take very strict action against them.
