Our house at jugsalai, jamshedpur was surveyed by the technical expert of the M/s pidilite industries ltd . the suggested certain treatment with their products from M/s Ahoka Enterprises, the authorised dealer of their products at jamshedpur. The work was executed by their authorised applicator. After completion of the work in Nov they gave us a written warantee for the performance of their service. After six months of the work completed the house developed leakage problem. Since then we have been requesting them to take corrective action. they are not listening.they have investigated the matter and confirmed that ther are leakage problems in the said house. The amount involved is around 1.00lakh.

Sub: Regarding our complaint dated 19/03/10 for roof leakages.
Dear Sir,
Please refer to our above complaint.
The building under reference was surveyed by your representative Mr. Amative Banerjee. He suggested 3” screed / reinforcement with 3” concrete of the roof top surface and treating the surface with Pidicrete MPB & Pidicrete LW, finally application of Dr. Fixit NEWCOAT on the affected surface.
As suggested we purchased all of the above Dr. Fixit brand construction chemicals from M/s Ashoka Enterprises, your authorized Dealer at Jamshedpur and got the work executed By Mr. Arijit Dutt of National Construction co. India, authorized applicator of M/s Pidilite Industries. The work was duly completed in November.
You will appreciate that the above work was carried out under your supervision, with your brand of construction chemicals and through your authorized applicator. Thus we technically followed all prescribed specification for the execution of the said work. On completion of the work we were given a written Warrantee Certificate dated 06.11.2007 for 7 (Seven) years for the performance of the above job.
Unfortunately in June within about six months of completion of the work, the subject building developed a number of defects like wrinkles, defected surface, blisters, cracks etc.
According to your above warrantee you are liable to restore all defects to our satisfaction. Your Representative had investigated the matter in July. Despite repeated requests, even after elapse of about 2 (two) years, you have not taken any action to rectify the defects.
Mr. Surjit Kumar Kar, Area Manager (Technical Services) M/s Pedilite Industries Ltd has investigated the matter and gave his report on 11.04. wherein he accepted that there are defects on the surface of the building as detailed above.
In line with said Warrantee, You are requested to take immediate corrective measures to remove the subject defects on top priority basis or else we shall be constrained to resort to all other course of action available with me.
Please treat this as most urgent.
