I applied for local shift of my telephone to just the next house on 1st July. After about 10 calls starting from 1500, I was given the Work Order Number dated 4th July. Made another 10 calls to the local exchange. No result. Even now the reputation of BSNL seems to be in the hands of JTOs' and technicians and not processes and systems. This attitude may not workout for BSNL for a long time.
