NON RECEIPT OF BILLS

Suince June when my landline was installed i have been trying to get a bill out of BSNL. Every time i have been told, don't worry it will come, we are having some problems. Suddenly in December i get an SMS saying that my bill is R11 000 Rupees. Trying to get a copy of this bill has proven impossible and noe one in BSNL seems to be able to give me a copy of the billing for 5 months that is nearly double what my normal bills are. I have been to see the accounts officers and their heads at the Canada Corner offices. I have been to two other offices where they have sent me and no one can help me. The worst is the arrogance and unhelpfulness of the people, especially those at the Canada Corner offices. The general answer is; "just pay the bill and then you can get a copy afterwards". If i can't get a copy now, how will they ever be able to give one "afterwards"!!! We contract with BSNL for a service which they provide and a part of that service is that they will provide us with proof of the billing on a monthly basis.

If anyone has any information that can get me to find a copy of by bills, please let me know as i have given up. I have decided to give up the BSNL line because of this pathetic service and their intermittent service on their landlines and Broadband. I don't mind paying for a service, but i do mind paying for what i don't know. Luckily in India we have many other options and so we don't have to accept this dismal excuse for performance!!!
