It has been observed that BSNL is charging Rs.1/- more while rounding off the actual telephone bill amount. For eg. If the bill amount is Rs.301.15, the Round of bill amount due would be Rs.302/-. According to mathematics rules, Rounding off to next rupee should be above or equal to 0.50/- only. Also, due to this, Bsnl will get a huge amount by accumulation of Rs.1/- freely from each customer. It may be crores of Rupees per month.
Kindly look in to the matter at the earliest.
