DELAY IN PROVIDING NEW LAND LINE CONNECTION

My name is Group Captain V Madhusudhan Reddy, from Indian Air Force serving at College of Air Warfare in Secunderabad. I reside at Tirumalgherry. I have applied for a new BSNL Land line connection on 08th July. The representative of BSNL Mr. B Ravinder came home and collected an amount of Rs. 500/- as deposit. Few days after that, I was called and given a telephone number, 040-27799044 stating that this number has been allotted to me and the telephone would be provided in two days time. Ever since I have been contacting BSNL SDO Tirumalgherry Mr. Swamy. Initially I have been told that there is a problem with cable and later problems with casual labour. I have put in repeated complaints at BSNL Office by visiting personally. Every time, I have been given assurance that the phone would be provided very soon. I go out of Hyderabad frequently and am facing lots of inconvenience in terms of contacting my family as the mobile connectivity is poor at this place. I have even requested to cancel my connection for which the response has been not to worry and that the phone would be provided soon. Please do the needful and advice me on the course of action to be taken. Regards.
