Sudden Disconnection without any notice

My brother had a BSNL pre Paid Connection against the number 9401402043, Suddenly all incoming and outgoing has been stopped. On enquiry over telephone i was told that reason for disconnection cannot be disclosed. How there can be such a secret reason for disconnection?? now my brother has taken a seperate pre paid number but i want to know the adject reason for snapping of the earlier connection.
