Dear SIR,

Plz note that I, DR. DATTA DAS was a customer of BSNL landline phone bearing no. 2586443 for last 12 years. But, since last 2-3 years the service of BSNL people became so poor, that the remained dead for 400 days so to say within a year..As a result, the internet service was also disrupted almost all the time. If a complaint was registered, it also remained unattended for days together. Everytime, I had to approach the DGM for interference, which is highly unwanted and unjustified. LASTLY, AS I WAS FADE UP WITH THEIR SERVICE, I decided to surrender the telephone and applied for the same on 22.03.2012.The S.D.O. Mr. A.K.PATTNAIK, did not give any acknowledgement receipt to my husband and told that as the server was down, he is unable to give so. The next day, I rang him up, but he again said the same thing, and also said that"MADAM, you don't worry. Our lineman will go to your house to deliver the receipt and bring the set after 31.03.2012 as per official rule. You 've to pay the rent upto 31.MARCH ."So, I waited and rang him up again on the morning of 2nd APRIL.and he told O.K.But, at about 2p.m.some clerk from his office rang in our landline phoe and said that your receipt is ready, send somebody to collect the same. After that whenI talked to the S.D.O.he too told the same thing as told oppositely 10 days ago and behaved very rudely. The next day my husband went to the telephone office. Our phone was still not disconnected. So, naturally some altercation was there. And the other staff said he had delibarately done so and the S.D.O had to disconnect the phone from the date of application. When my husband asked him about it, he abused my husband and even dared to drive him out from his chamber, crossing all the limits of decency. So, I request you to plz take necessary steps in waiving out the rent of the telephone and b.b.for the same period at the same time action as deemed proper may be taken against the S.D.O who had misbehaved like anything. Moreover, I am unable to understand what the server had to do all along those days, when a hand written acknowledgement receipt was given to us yesterday. Isincerely hope that you will consider the matter and solve it quickly.
