BSNL phone bills
Non acceptance of credit cards for bill payment

I E.AjitKumar, Senior citizen aged 67 years wanted to make the payment for the current landline connections that I have. On the reverse of the Telephone bills against column L it has been stated that credit cards would be accepted for payment of telephone bills at Customer service centres of BSNL.I am a resident of Thoraipakkam, Chennai 600096 so I went to BSNL Customer service centre, Adyar to make the payment of my telephone bills by credit card. The customer service centre at Adyar refused to accept the payment by credit card and I was directed by the responsible person there.at Adyar that I could make the payment by credit card at RK nagar BSNL customer service centre, but after going there I was informed that credit cards would only be accepted for payment of BSNL cellphone bills but not for payment of BSNL land line telephone bills.

Eventually I went to BSNL customer service centre at GR complex where the payment of my landline telephone bills was paid by credit cards.

I would appreciate if the copy of this complaint is foirwarded to the minister of Telecommunication for remedial action
