Invalid sim

As directed by the showroom Executive of the Tata Docomo I made one call immediately after inserting in my handset (on 11/12/09) to activate the sim. Since then there is no incoming or outgoing and my handset shows " INVALID SIM " but I am receiving their SMS for GPRS / MMS service. Mine is duel sim e-phone using dolphin connection since long time.
