ISD calls wrongly charged

Sir,

I am Pramod. E. P, from Kerala. I have been using the post paid mobile service of Idea Cellular Ltd. The complaint is with the ISD calls. They wrongly charged the ISD calls which is not connected at the other end. I registered the complaint at Idea Customer Care center, grievance cell and appelate authority. But they said that the calls were connected and rejected my complaint. Please consider my complaint and provide justice. The details of the communication mails are mentioned under.

We wish to inform you that the billing complaint had taken on this issue and as per the complaint closure, we would like to confirm that the tariff is charged correctly. Also we are unable to give waiver on the ISD calls connected for more than 5 seconds.

Sir,

I have a complaint with the ISD service of your mobile service. I had called the customer care center and also had sent some mails regarding this complaint. Still there is no resolution. Today, 6th of July is the last date of my bill payment. If you can clear this complaint, I can make the payment on time. Otherwise I will forward this complaint to next level (Consumer Court / TRAI), till I get a positive resolution. Please go through the chain mails mentioned under.

I am Pramod. E. P

I have been using your post paid mobile service (9656008040) for the past one year.

I have a dispute regarding the latest bill generated on 21st June. My complaint is regarding the ISD calls. I made calls to the mobile no. 00966541266956, in Saudi Arabia on 2nd and 4th June at 5.18 PM and 5.38 PM respectively. Both the calls were not connected and it was only ringing. Along with the ringing the timer of my handset showed the call duration, hence I disconnected the call. At the same time I called the customer care executive and informed the details regarding this. As per the communication I had with your customer care executive, there is no problem with your network and it may be the problem with the other mobile networks and there is no provision to waive the disputed amount (Rs.22/-). As a customer of Idea cellular Ltd., why should I bother the complaint of other networks? Is it a good way to charge the unanswered calls, whether it is ISD or STD or Local? I need a clear clarification regarding this. It is not the case of payment of Rs.22/- (dispute amount), but this should not be continued in future. I have clearly communicated to your customer care executive that I will not pay my latest bill amount without getting the waiver of Rs.22/- and this kind of mistake must not happen in future.

Please process my complaint at the earliest.
