Mobile towers and generators
Construction of Mobile tower on private rescidential building

Dear Sir,

I am living in 43/ 6, third floor, East Patel Nagar. This is my own flat constructed in 1997. There is already a mobile tower existing on the roof top of 3 rd floor of our building. Now the owners of other flats in the building have given permission to build another mobile tower on the rooftop of 3rd floor. I have already lodged a complaint at MCD office on 10 Sep 10 regarding the construction of 2nd tower, mentioning that as per the rules of MCD, no mobile towers can be constructed on rescidential building.

As well as the roof of the building is not in a condition to sustain the load of the tower, generator and other equipments related to it. During the rainy season the complete roof of 3rd floor was leaking at most of the places. This has also damaged the interior finish of both the flats on the 3rd floor.

Also there is lot of vibration because of the generator of the first tower. This may result to the damage to the roof of the 3rd floor and can lead to serious casualties to the persons living underneath it.

The company constructing the tower has not taken any NOC from us (The most affected person as the tower is being constructed on my roof top). After the first complaint of mine the work was stopped for few days but again it had started from 25th Nov 10 onwards, and the construction company has dugup the roof at number of places. This is also leading to the cement damage to the roofs and walls of the flats on 3rd floor.

In view of above, you are requested to take strict actions against the construction company and not let this tower be constructed on top of the rescidential building.

Thanking you,

Amitabh Anand K
