CHARGED FOR CALLER TUNES AFTER DEACTIVATION

Hello,

Request you to look into the my grievance regarding the Caller Tune Charges which Aircel had been charging against my number.

1) I had requested to activate Caller tune in 2010.

2) There was no proper service, it hardly played the tune.

3) Hence, I had requested for deactivation in the same year, probably after a month or so

4) I never went back to them and checked if they have acknowledged my request and deactivated the same as there was no caller tune thereafter.

5) Till date there was ‘No’ caller tune on my number. However, AIRCEL has charged CRBT for almost a year now.

Since, my home address and company email address had changed, I did not check my bill for such a long time and had paid the monthly bill amount which came to mobile. It was such a pain to get hold of their customer care executive that I didn’t bother to call up and update the ‘addresses’.

Recently, I had called up and asked them to update my email address to look into the bills and to my surprise, AIRCEL had charged for Caller Tunes which was deactivated way back. Am really not sure, if it is more than one year that I had been paying for the service which was not rendered to me!!

Can I please ask you to do the needful?
