My complaints on Airtel 4G.
Issue 1: I requested for 4G connection from Airtel website. As executive has come to my place showed me the demo. And I am very happy with the speed.
Next day I got a call from Airtel saying that there is no coverage in my area. I was shocked.
But when I called and asked the executive who showed me demo, he said that there might be a miscommunication. Later I bought Airtel 4g LTE CPE (wireless) device and got activated within 4 hours.
Ofcourse the calls from Airtel didn't stop saying that there is no coverage.
I was happily using this for 10 days then I got another issue:
Issue 2: My airtel 4g account got suspended. When called to customer care they informed me that it is due incomplete documentation. Though I submitted all the documents initially, I don't know why they disconnected my connection and they asked me to submit my documents in ANY airtel showroom. But remember not all Airtel showrooms accepts documents. Only few showrooms do this.
In the showroom I understood that I am facing issues because of the sales executive who has given me the connection. He has not done the documentation properly and missed my documents.
Issue 3: Airtel is having many types of customer cares, Airtel Postpaid, Airtel Prepaid, Airtel Technical support, etc.. You need to have clear idea of the issue you are facing and call to the respective all center. If you call a wrong call center and if ask you them to transfer the call to a right call center, they will not do it. They will say that they are transferring call to their manager and they disconnect the call.
Issue 4: Airtel Postpaid customer care only provides information but not the resolutions. They are helpful but very rude and don't have any knowledge on their products. Surprisingly one of the executive who talked to me don't know that 4g is available with Airtel.
Sales Executive is Niranjan. Do not deal with this guy. He is very polite during the sales and very rude post sales.
Finally I don't suggest Airtel 4G as it is expensive (both device and plans) and for the above reasons.
I think my issue will not get resolved for next few days.
