Hi,

I had Airtel Broadband (0124-4214038) for around year. In Sep'09 I shifted my residence. I called up Airtel customer care on 25-Sep for discontinuation of my connection. I was told that my connection will be discontinued within 48 hours. At that time my bill for September was also paid. So there was no dues when I made the request for disconnection.

After that I received call from Airtel CC regarding my unpaid bill in November. I explained to them that I have already requested for disconnection in September and I have paid for the September month too. And since them I am receiving call from Airtel every 2-3 weeks. I have explained the same thing multiple times. I have also asked them to check if there is any usage after September. But all this to no avail as I keep getting calls from Airtel.

Its pure fraud that Airtel is committing. They have designed there process and internal system like that nothing is in sync at there end. When I have placed the request for disconnection, my account should have been closed in that billing cycle. But they kept my account activated and now harassing me to overpay them

Can somebody guide me what I should do.
