Charges for customer care call

I called the Airtel toll free customer-care number 121, and when I pressed the number to talk to a customer care executive, the automated voice response announced that I will be charged 50 paise per 3 minutes for this call. I felt terrible! They are charging for customer care now. This is not acceptable!!!
