I got Prepaid connection 15 days back and at the time of connection I have given photocopy of my driving license and Pan crad to customer representative 'Ms Manju' at Airtel Head office in Chandigarh IT park. they said that these documents are enough and my connection will start in 1 day and so it is, my connection started after some time.
last week suddenly my connection got disconnected and to my bad luck I was in different city that time without any other phone. some how I manage to call customer care from there and they told me that my sim card has got rejected or got corrupt and I need to buy another one from head office. I had a real bad time without any phone and then when i reached chandigarh I went to Headoffice to check on this.
there Ms manju told me that my services got barred becuase the documentation is notproper and then she accepted that they missed one of my document when sending it to verification department and becuase of tht, that department barred my connection on the reason of incomplete documentation.
I have to again give my documents and then she said that my connection will start in one hr. but when I reached my home and my connection was not started, I called them and then She said that it will take 2 days to get this started. it is not yet started and I am tired call these ppl.
I would like to register a complain against Airtel Staff for not handling customer details properly and causinf inconvenience to them.
could you please look into this seriously?
