Multiple Issues with Airtel

I am an Airtel customer since last 5 years and was happy with their services for two of my mobile numbers and one telephone and broadband connection until the launch of their so called "NEW" website.

COMPLAINT NO 1: I have got a new BB Curve Handset and wanted to activate BB services on it. I had to call to their helpline 121 more than 5 times (for three consecutive days) for them to figure out that my handset was not 3G enabled and could only work on GPRS. The last representative's name was Harpreet and he had absolutely no idea of any solution to my problem. I started with telling him my problem and explained it for good 5 minutes and guess what, after five minutes he said "Sir mein aapki kya sahaayta kar sakta hoon"!!! WHAT? Was I talking to the wall in your room??? But I kept my calm and told him the problem again. After spending a good 10 minutes just explaining my problem, he simply cut the phone by almost shouting at me that its my fault to purchase a BB handset from outside and not Airtel. I went to the mobile phone showroom and got the information that my latest BB phone will only work with GPRS, which BTW even after repeated calls is NOT yet activated since last 8 days. Oh and BTW, did I mention that almost everyday at least one of the Airtel representative told me "Sir humaare systems down hain, mein aapki koi sahaayta nahi kar sakta" - CHEERS UNCLE AIRTEL

COMPLAINT NO 2: I have a pre-paid Airtel number that I wanted to re-charge through m-chek. I repeatedly tried registering through the "NEW" airtel website and got a "Registration Successful" message. However when I tried proceeding with the re-charge, it told me that am NOT registered with M-chek!!! WHAT THE HELL??? I registered TWICE and even got the confirmation!!! Well, I called on 121 and the representative told me to "Register" first. I told him that I did it twice but he dint seem to care and kept telling me to register. I could feel that he is hopeless and so I cut the phone. THE END - my phone is still NOT re-charged. - CHEERS AGAIN UNCLE AIRTEL

COMPLAINT NO 3:

ME TO AIRTEL REP ON PHONE: "Hi, my broadband bill is repeated this month. I paid two days back and got a payment received confirmation. When I check my account now, it shows me that the amount has NOT been paid. WHY?? "

AIRTEL: sorry sir our systems are down and I cannot help you.
