I had made a request to Airtel for cancellation of my Landline connection number 022- 41235029
I have made so far > 20 calls to Airtel since 21st of Oct for cancellation request but every time they just give me another date to followup.
In the course of last 1 month there have been two times where by Airtel Call center reported me that I've revoked my request as per their database.
Which is absolutely false and a cheating. You can listen to following conversation ID's and I had never revoked my request for cancellation.
I've also marked mails to [email protected] & [email protected] on 5th & 11th November, still I don't see any resolution yet.
I was told that within 7 days my connection gets disconnected, So since my Billing cycle is from 27th to 26th of every month, I had made the request on 21st Oct. I was thinking that the connection would at least happen by 8th Nov (even if it gets delayed) when I was supposed vacant my house & shift to another location. I had already inquired & validated from Airtel in past that they don't have any presence at the new location hence I had put the request for cancellation.
I am not sure if its a right time to go in consumer court .. Kindly advise..
