I have taken Airtel's Fixed Line, Broadband and IPTV (Triple Play Service) in June' 2009 paying a deposit, installation and connection charge of Rs.2499/-. My connection was installed in 2 days with a old Telephone Instrument where as I had paid for a Cordless Instrument. I was told that the new instrument was out of stock and the same will provided in next 7 working days. But till date the new instrument is not delivered.
In this regards I have been given regular complaints to your customer care but no action is yet happened. Every time I get the answer from the executive that we will provide a new hand set and give 100 % waiver on your bill after you buy the same from our dealer. This also has never happened in last 3 yrs.
On 9th April' 2012 I had given a complaint for handset problem where-in I am not able to hear the conversation properly and I was told by the executive that my handset will be replaced and on further query of replacing my hand set with a new one since I was not provided the same at the initial stage and for which I have been placing complaint time and again. The executive replied that it is already 2 year and more we cannot do anything but to disconnect your connection if you have such problems. The conversation ended there in. Then I received a call from your executive at your Delhi office inquiring about my complaint and I have to repeate my same old story again. He told that we will provide you with a cordless set from our dealer and you have to pay Rs.1100/- and after installation and confirmation from your end we will give waiver of 100% on your next bill. I mentioned that I have been repeatedly chasing up this case for last few years and nothing concrete has happened yet and if it is not resolved then I have to take decision of switching to another operator. He assured me that the new instrument will be provided in next 2 day and he will confirm me the complaint no after next 10 minutes discussing internally. No call has come yet and nothing has been take care.
To my utter surprise today around 1.30 pm while i switched on my TV I found that the connection has been disconnected. I checked the land line and broadband and connection is disconnected. i called up customer care and they told that you connection has been disconnected on you request only and if you need to re-connect then you have to pay re-connection charges and unpaid bill amount after that you connection will be installed else we cannot do any thing. I inquired of the previous facts but he was not in a position to reply he simply replied that I am sending a request for re-connection and you have to pay the dues immediately.
Sir with due regards I request you to kindly give me proper justice since I have been harassed by airtel for no mistake or fault of mine. I have been paying my monthly bill dues well in time and have been following up for my handset repeatedly but airtel is not responding to my complaints rather harassing me.
