I had a landline connection with broadband facility from Airtel. The phone line was disconnected in the month of Feb-11 owing to some issue of Airtel with BSES (probably BSES people had uprooted their junction boxes installed on the BSES poles). Airtel people assured me that the problem will be rectified within 2 weeks time, but nothing was done to rectify the problem. I was assured that company would not be charging for the time period till the problem persists. Now company has raised a bill for April-May period & are pressurising me to pay for the billed period. I have made numerous calls to there customer care asking them to disconnect the line as I am not interested in keeping the same. Each time they give a request no with the words&-quot;Your line will be disconnected in the next 7 working days". God knows how long those 7 working days are & when will they be over. I am using Airtel's mobile phone service, but looking in to the handling of this matter, which is really disappointing, I will have to rethink about that also. If this harrasment of making calls on my mobile & sending SMSes does not stop I will be left with no option other than the lagal course for redressal of this matter.
