I have canceled my connection on Feb 26'th (Service Request No:36065472)
by paying full outstanding dues. In fact I have called the customer service to
block my SIM card on Feb 25'th itself. I was told by the local airtel
store rep that I will get one final bill which will have rental charged until
Feb 26'th.
On March I received a bill will full charges Mar 4'th. I wrote an email
to [email protected] for which they said they will enquire why the connection was
not called. After that there was no response and again on Apr 4'th I
received one more bill for another set of charges.
I again wrote to 121 and I got a response that my mobile is cancelled on April
14'th and also there are outgoing calls after until which the rental was
charged.
First of all, when I blocked my SIM on Feb 25'th how can there be any
outgoing calls? After that I cancelled my connection on Feb 26'th
(Service Request No:36065472) for which I guess there was a glitch in Airtel
which failed to cancel my connection.
There is no proper response from Customer Service or Nodal Office detailing what happened to
the Service Request for cancellation. All I am liable is for rental charges
until Feb 26'th. Now I am getting a Legal Notice from Vijay Associates to pay the balance of 1047 which is more than what I am supposed to pay.
In my past communication I have asked several times on what happened to the status of SR No. 36065472 for which there is no proper response. I am getting improper responses like I continued to use the line, I have agreed to continue etc.
