My relationship with Airtel is over 7 years now and I feel being cheated by them twice in last 6 months.
Today, I had an interaction with Supervisor Kishore and Escalations Manager Shiva to address my issue, both of them were saying that, 'we understand that it is a miss from our end and we are limited'. Here is my issue, Airtel sent an SMS stating that as Holi special offer, we are giving you 1 paise/second - any network plan for RC 6/- which is valid for one year. Before proceeding with the recharge, I called Airtel Helpline and the representative confirmed the same. Sadly, the offer last only for 45 days and now Airtel claims that it was linked to your last Value added recharge which expired yesterday and so this offer also expires. They are asking me to recharge with RC 27 to continue availing 1p/second offer.
My question to Airtel is why didn't you explain the same to me earlier and as you admit that it is a miss from your end, what is stopping you to give me what was promised??? It not a matter of me again doing a new recharge to continue availing this offer, I don't have any trust or faith in Airtel that it will deliver it's promise. Adding to it, the customer support experience was pathetic.
If any of the Airtel officials are reviewing it, please do explain the customer clearly about your promotions and offers rather than saying that we have an IVR which states it.
