This is to inform you that the above mentioned cell is being used by my mother, who is 70 years old. She does not ever check her messages.
Airtel, in their wisdom initiated cricket score updates and a few other things on her cell phone and started deducting money from her prepaid connection.
I have called up many people in the customer service dept, and a few managers had promised me, that they will refund the money, which unfortunately did not happen. The concerned mangers names are Mr. Baban and Ms. Sujata.
Yesterday I had gone to your relationship centre in Kalyan, where I had to wait half an hour outside your branch in the hot sun from 2.15 pm to 2.45 pm as your executives were having lunch. There also your executive did not attend to my complaint and instead asked me to call up your customer service on 999 from your landline phone.
I spoke to one MR. Abhinav, who promised me that an amount of Rs 80/- will be refunded to the account with in four hours. The money is yet to come.
Today I tried calling up the customer service in121 but after reaching the customer service in the IVR, I got a reply which stated that I should sms them for the balance inquiry. This reply I have heard at least 15 times in the past three weeks that I have been trying to contact Airtel.
I would prefer to receive the total money deducted from the cell phone till date due to this unauthorized updates.
