I had lost my cell phone about 10 days back since then i have been going through horrible customer service from Airtel. I was first not able to block my sim as I had to call airtelprepaid customer service only from a prepaid number which I did not have as I had lost my phone, I had to make 4 calls from my postpaod connection to get the prepaid customer service number and still the issue was not fixed. Then I had to go to the near by Airtel office to block my sim finally I got it blocked.
Then now that I have blocked my sim I had to go to Aitel office 5 times, Everyday they will say sir we do not have the 9845 series duplicate sim issued yet please come tomorrow do I had to go everyday to hear the same story from those Idiots. Finally I got my duplicate Sim after about a week and submitted all the necessary documents. Now the lady there at the Airtel customer service outlet in R.T.Nagar said " sir your service will be activated in 4 hours and it was more than 24hrs and it was still not activated. Now calling the customer service is again a problem as my outgoing was barred on my prepaid service. I had call from a landline and waited for an agent and that stupid agent told I have to go to Airtel office again to submit the ID proof which I had already submitted and she did'nt even understand my concern and kept repeating the same thing like a parrot at this point I had lost my patience as she was a dumb idiot who could not identify the problem and I had asked for a supervisor and then I get a supervisor after about 8 minutes and told her my concern she said I will take the request and you outgoing will get activated in 1hr. When the supervisor could do it why could'nt the agent do it. such a ridiculous service. I am fed up of Airtel service the only reason why I am having that sim is because I am using that number from past seven years and I dont like to change my number.
