I have been using Airtel Broadband and Telphone connection for the past 2 years; I changed from BSNL for the speed and the customer service. But Airtel Service is completely pathetic. Here are the list of concerns:
For the past two occassions; once for my Broad Band - Complaint No : 40405316 and recently for my telephone land line - Complaint No :45037670; both these complaints were closed by the engineers without even finishing the task. I have never seen this kind of service; how can a person close the call when its not completed by simply putting they have confirmed from us. And in both the cases no one had called to confirm the same; and I would be waiting for the problem to be rectified. When I called up Airtel's call centre I was told that the call has already been closed and I need to log in a fresh call. Is this a kind of service we get from the "so called" no.1 service provider. There is no Service sheet or anything where the customer has to sign, engineers can just close the call looks like and they just close the calls without even completing it.
Getting your call centre agent takes min. 15 mins and they disconnect the call telling technical error when asked to transfer to the escalation department. Believe me I had to spend around 1 hour from my mobile (had to call up thrice) to get to the escalation department but it was in vain.
Will Airtel refund me the cost spent from my vodafone mobile?
Iam advising all my friends please dont take Airtel connection instead go for a data card, much more easy and convenient and I really feel for changing from BSNL to Airtel.
