I booked a holiday package with bookmyholiday.in though bagittoday (a India Today group company). My Booking id is

I wanted to go to Goa with my family. I saw an offer from bagittoday and called their number. The sales agent gave me hundreds of assurances of a great holiday experiences. He said I will have to pay Rs 7, 000 immediately using my credit card and Rs 750 later through DD payable to
AFFORDABLE SALES PROMOTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED.
I did the needful and did not hear anything from the any of them. One week before my travel (I had booked to and fro air tickets from Lucknow to Mumbai) since I had not heard anything I called bag it today and requested them the confirmation. In response they gave me another number to call which was

I called the number and to my surprise I was told that my booking was denied because I didnt make the request in time. Now this was something I that had confirmed at least 5 times over phone with the sales agent.
First of all, why did he continuously make promises that were not possible. Secondly, even if my bookings were denied for any damn reason why wasn't I informed?
Its been over 2 months I paid the money and I am still waiting for a refund. When I try and call bookmyholiday.in they simply hang the call saying they are putting me on hold.
I REQUEST ANYONE AND EVERYONE READING THIS TO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH EITHER BAGITTODAY OR BOOKMYHOLIDAYS.IN... GUYS THIS IS A SCAM... PLEASE DONT FALL PREY TO IT.
