I booked a bus ticket from Hyderabad to Pune through internet using www.omerbus.com on 20th Oct and the travel date was 7/Nov for the Volvo Semisleeper bus leaving Hyd at 6.30 pm. The ticket was for Rs. 790/- and an amount of Rs 810/- promptly debited from my account and the ticket got issued.
One guy from Omer travels calls me on the Diwali day - 5th Nov at 7.30 pm and tells me that the bus is cancelled and you need to come to the Afzalgunj office and collect the money refund. I told him why the bus is cancelled, the guy gives some stupid and idiotic answers. I immediately checked online and realised that the guys are selling the same tickets were being sold at Rs. 2100/-
This is a typical case of fraud and the Omer bus travel agency... why are they putting up their details on sites like makemytrip.com and why do they have a website of their own when they want to sell their tickets in this illegal way? They think that passengers anyway dont have a choice... we will shout at them for 2 mins and forget about it... where do we go to complain on such issues.. WILL THERE BE ANY KIND OF ACTION TAKEN AGAINST THEM? They have become such thick skinned.. that they just dont bother about such things and this kind of frauds are a routine to them
