TATKAL ticket refund reg

Actually i have booked tatkal train ticket on 22.03.2012 Durgapur to Varanasi (Total 6 passengers in two tatkal tickets).

based on that ticket i have booked return ticket on23.03.2012 (Mugal sarai to Durgapur) also.(Total 6 passengers in two tickets).

But the onward train almost 8 hours delay.so that reasons i cant come back on the return date. in this reason total my money and time wasted.

In this case what is my mistake.

Please consider my situation and kindly refund the amount.
