1) We asked KRE Tours & Travels, Jaipur to book Air Tickets for four persons from Mumbai to Goa.
2) The company confirmed and sent us the confirmation.
3) As per our telephonic conversation with them we deposited the amount in their ICICI Bank A/c Number 023505005969. The same was confirmed to the receptionist at their office.
4) When we reached Mumbai on 19.03.2011 the airline company told us that your amount has not been paid so no booking is confirmed.
5) When we tried to confirm the issue with them there was a silly excuse made by them that the amount has not been paid yet and they are not aware of any such transactions (despite the fact that we confirmed it. A copy of phone details can be submitted for the same.)
6) Due to their wrong commitments and wrong information me and my family passed through a lot of mental trauma. When we tried to contact the company personnels they were not supportive. After a lot of pursuance they organised three tickets and asked us to purchase the fourth one on our own, due to this I have to spent another 2600 Rs. unnecessarily. Me and my family planned a tour to Goa for mental relief and peace but this act of KRE Tours and Travels not only spoiled my mood but also created a lot of tension and stress. We had to wait at the airport for five hours and I had to hire a hotel to stay there as the new tickets were of a flight next early morning.
7) We have given them 15 days to settle our grievance by refunding of full amount with suitable interest (12%), or along with suitable compensation, else we will file a complaint with the Consumer Forum as we are protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986.

The objective to file a consumer complaint is not only monetary compensation for the loss but also to teach a lesson to such companies so as to save a lot of other consumers from such practices.
