the iteneary for the tour was as follows
DAY 1: DELHI - SHIMLA (330 KM/ APPROX. 9 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to Shimla on arrival at the airport or railway station in Delhi (on your own). Upon reaching Shimla, check in at the hotel. Enjoy rest of the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: EXCURSION TO KUFRI (20 KM)
Go on a half-day excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking trails. Also visit Indira Tourist Park which offers a panoramic view of the hills around. Enjoy a pony or a yak ride (on direct payment basis) around the park. After returning to Shimla, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, Relax, explore the local market or stroll along the Mall. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: SHIMLA - MANALI (272 KM/ APPROX 7 HOUR DRIVE)
Enjoy a drive past the banks of the River Beas to Manali. On arrival in Manali, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel
DAY 4: EXCURSION TO ROHATANG PASS /SNOW POINT
In the morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang Pass. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired (on direct payment basis). Enjoy rest of the day at leisure to explore the picturesque town on your own.
DAY 5: MANALI
Proceed for a city tour, visiting the Hadimba Temple and Vashisit Temple and the Manikaran. Enjoy the evening at leisure, relax, shop or stroll along the Mall Road.
DAY 6: MANALI - DHARAMSHALA (235 KMS/ APPROX. 7 HOUR DRIVE)
Continue the picturesque journey to Dharamshala. It is the principal township of Kangra district, which overlooks the plains and is surrounded by pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7: DHARAMSHALA
Visit some of the important places of Dharamshala like St. John's Church and McLeodganj, which is home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and has a beautiful Tibetan market.
DAY 8: DHARAMSHALA - DALHOUSIE (145 KMS/ APPROX. 4.5 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to Dalhousie, a small hill station that still retains its old British charm. Its marvellous forest trails overlook vistas of wooded hills, waterfalls, spring and rivulets. On arrival in Dalhousie, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Martyr's Memorial at Panchpulla; en route visit Satdhara, famous for its water stream that contains mica and has medicinal properties.
DAY 9: EXCURSION TO KHAJJIAR (23 KMS / APPROX 1 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to Khajjiar, a scenic spot set amidst a backdrop of dense pines, deodars and lush green meadows. Khajjiar is exquisitely nestled amidst the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the western Himalayas, providing a panoramic and breathtaking view to the visitors.
DAY 10: DALHOUSIE
Transfer to Jammu or Pathankot/ Delhi railway station or Jammu airport for your onward journey.
After reaching manali i recieved a sms from the tour operator asking me to call them as it was urgent. On calling them i learned that my hotel booking for Dharamshala was not confirmed by them and reason given was IPL matches in Dharamshala. I asked Make my trip to terminate the trip at manali and refund my balance money or else book me alternately for a tour of agra and jaipur. But both these request were turned down and i was asked to extened 1 night stay in manali and then proceedto kasauli, chandigarh and then delhi.

I had no option but to agree to them as i had already paid the complete amount to them. But my nightmare did not end there, on reaching Kasauli i was shocked to learn that the hotel booked for me was in a place called Barog which was 20 KM away from Kasauli. On contacting make my trip i was told that the hotel is in Kasauli. I explained to them that i had already been to kasauli and i was told that that particular hotel was in Barog by the Hotel Management at Barog. On trying to contact make my trip again my call were unanswered and had to unwillingly check in at that hotel. I was not even informed about the local sightseeing that would be shown to me by the tour operator.
I sent a mail to the person who had booked me for this trip, Poonam Chamoli about her unprofessional behavior and all the hardships i had to face due to them but all my complaints fell on deaf ears.
On reaching Chandigarh i learnt that the hotel where i was supposed to be put up was not booked for me and i was shifted to a third grade hotel where the a/c was not functioning and the room was very filthy. On complaining again and blasting make my trip personnel they told me to wait for 10 mins and they would book in another hotel which was ridiculous as i had already checked in that hotel 2 hours back.
I was told that i would be compensated for all the hardships and inconvenience and that i would receive a call in that regard the next day evening after i reach Delhi but i haven't received any calls from.
Please help and and advice as to what course of action do i take.
