This is the voice of the mentally and physically tortured customer of Make my Trip who has trusted the Unprofessional company for making a holiday trip to Nainital.

I have booked my Hotel booking through Make my Trip for the Dolmaar Resorts in Kathgodam (Nainital) and my booking id number is IN1104B10555 dated April 20’11 and the whole amount was paid through credit card instantly after confirming the family room is available and the check in date is 22 April and check out date is 24th April accompanying the family with the 2 years old kid.

And just imagine the welcome after travelling 400 kms to an unknown city with a small kid with a mood of enjoying the planned and booked holiday. You get an answer from the reception of the resort that your booking is not there with us and we are completely booked and rather the whole nainital is booked because of the long weekend. We have called the make my trip booking number where we were calling for the booking, no one picked up the call and the resort manager was speaking to Mr. Sidharth about our booking saying “I have already informed you over the phone and email that we are booked and cancel the booking made by your marketing executive and inform the customer about the same. Why you have not done and the customer is standing in front of me. ” We have asked the hotel manager to make him speak to us but siddharth banged the phone without speaking to us. We took the number from the manager and spoke to him. Just imagine his answer after we gave him the introduction, hanji batayie. Aap wait karo apko call receive ho jayegi 10 minute mein. We have waited there for long one hour but no one called us. Hotel manager told us to go to Eden Garden hotel which was again 30 kms from the resort we were standing. We had no options but to go there as the whole nainital was booked due to long weekend.

It was a substandard under construction property where there was no activity at all and just a room which was not of our choice.

This was a weekend which make my trip has given us after paying the whole amount in advance and bearing the pain and booking ourselves to an unknown city. Thankfully we had car and cash to go to other place which was 1 hr drive from the chosen one. And the whole day was spoiled in searching the new place and doing the booking all over again. My kid and family was crying due to long drive and tiring journey after going to heights with the unfresh mind and body.

On Monday I have called the customer service dept. of make my trip and the answer we have rec;d is get Rs. 1000 off in your next booking or show us the bill and we will refund you the amount. You give us the bill and refund will take place after looking at your bills.

I wonder how make my trip is existing on such a worst marketing team who gives the booking on a over booked hotel and charge the customer for the non booking trip. And such a customer service dept. who is offering Rs. 1000 off on the next booking.
