Doing fraud by debiting credit card without knowledge of custome

I got an call from mega deal represtative told me as you are a priviliges customer of credit card and you will be given rs 80000 worth of free gift from mega deal and pls for verification pls give your credit card no and expiry date etc and when you gave your detail they debit your card with amount near 7000 without knowledge of customer. In my case i told him to confirm with my credit card bank but bank refused such an offer. So i warn everyone not to be part of fraud.
