I tried booking a ticket for Delhi to Hyderabad and the transaction did not go through because the site was down and gave me a server error. I tried booking another ticket and that went through.
However, after sometime I realized that I have been charged twice. And when I called the call center the representative (Aradhana Gupta) did not hear the complete story and went ahead and confirmed the first PNR and not the second. But, what I wanted was the second PNR to be confirmed and not the second.
When I spoke to the Team Lead (Kavita Kripalani) she said I would be charged 750 250 extra as cancellation when it is not my fault.
1. A server error means the booking has not gone through which is why I made the second booking
2. Secondly, the representative did not check the date with me before confirming the PNR.
I have been charged Rs.3842 each for 2 tickets and also Rs.1000 as their fees which is not my fault.
Kindly look into this.
