Sir, I have made an agreement with Mr. Joydeep Chakroborty-the lease holder of Pink Floyed Resort at Rishop in Darjeeling Dist (W.B) for a package tour of Lava-Lolegaon-Rishop-Kalimpong w.e.f. from 13/08 to 15/08 from NJP Rly. Stn to NJP Rly. Stn.with fooding, lodging and transportation and trained guide with cost Rs.85, 000/- for 45 Persons.
But after reaching New Jalpaiguri Rly. Stn. I found that nobody is there except the 5 Jeep drivers who will conduct our tour. Among them Mr. Alam driver of one Jeep told us that he is the incharge of the whole tour. But after reaching at Lava there is no trace of the driver. Anyhow we mangage Lava.
But next day after reaching Rishop, we have to walk more than one Kilometer trekking route in heavy rain with carry luggages personally. Mr. Alam can easily hire one Vehicle 4 wheel special gear Van to pick up us upto the hotel, but he didnot. Moreover the two Lodge alloted for us is a distance of more than 200 meters and the way is dangerous for walking through the forest. The food which served is very poor and a small quantity, though Mr. Jaydeep assured me best food with menu chart. The behaviour of the hotel staffs are rude and non cooperative. We were all in a shaky position in the forest area and next day we returned back to NJP station without our lunch. I have to spent extra charge for daytime lunch in the roadsaide hotel with Rs.3500/-. Already I have paid Rs.85000/- in full to Jaydeep Chakroborty before starting the journey at Kolkata.
Now Sir, it is my request, please take action against Jaydeep Chakroborty so that in future he cannot behave this type of cheating business.
