I bought SANSUI 21inch LCD TV in Jan 07. There was some scheme going on by SANSUI company to launch the introductory price in the market. I purchase it at Rs.21000/-.
Found that when we watch the TV from down and TV being installed in up, we are not able to see the pircute clear. Then assuming that bing LCD it may be like that, so we did not made any complaint.
After eight months (in August 07) it encountered prob that it stopped functioning such a way that when TV is switched on, it was going into blank screen with channel sound coming perfect. When i change the channel the picture and sound were ok. On very next day it stopped functioning. So called TV repairer and he changed the PCB saying it's faulty (do not know how pcb of such a reputed company can be faulty in just 8 Months).
Now after that got repaired last in August 07, on 22 April 08 LCD TV stopped functioning in same manner as it had happened last time.
How can a japanese company like SANSUI can have such a defective product? Is it that dealer HANS Elec cleared there defective stock at low price?
TV is under two years warantty.
Who can answer this question? Can i go to consumer court? What is the procedure?
