Sir,

I subscribed to Dish tv services on 31.03.2009 with 100 days package.

My V C no.: is 01507560688

We were offered a complete package of all channels for initial 100 days

, but subsequently after 10 days few channels (UTV, Bindass & consequently Zee Gujarati) were automatically disconnected without prior information. Upon inquiring with Dish Tv customer care, we were informed that now these channels will be under paid services. THIS IS A FRAUD BY THE DISH TV SERVICE PROVIDERS!! In a way we were misguided and legally were authorized to avail this facility without any extra charge for 100 days!

We are regularly facing problem of unnecessary deductions of amount from our recharge price. We regularly pay for silver pack colors but the amount always is considered only for silver pack. We have to regularly followup with the customer care (who are usually not available) to get back the colors channel. Inspite of several complains, they do not upgrade our package details on the my account info. Everytime we get the same reply that there is some technical fault in their system..IS THIS OUR FAULT??? WHY SHOULD WE BEAR THE COST FOR THEIR FAULTS???

Last payment made on 17.02.2010 for silver pack color paying Rs 150.00. I received message on my cell on 24th intimating that we can opt for supersilver pack by contacting the customer care. When we had a conversation with customer care, we were being told that the super silver pack will be upgraded and the last payment date will be reflected either by msg on cell or on my account in dish tv. This date as on 22.03.2010 (until 8.00pm) showed due date as 22.03.2010. But the channels were deactivated on 21.03.2010 without any intimation. Upon enquiry with c.c we were informed that due to TECHNICAL fault, the wrong date was being shown. IS THIS OUR FAULT??? I even did not received any intimation on my cell number!

Today on 22.03.2010 I recharged my account with Rs. 200 at the Dish Shoppe, C-145 Swaminarayan nagar, Opp. Maruti Complex, Channi Road., Nizampura, Vadodara - 390024, Ph: 0265 - 2772566. The receipt number is 2355 clearly mentioning the scheme as silver pack color. But received an intimation on the cell at 4.33 pm that the transaction (52999551) was successful for Rs.150. Why Rs.50 were deducted??? The customer care people do not take any responsibility of their dealer. The customer care person that we talked was Mr. Vikas Sharma with our complain number 35809197 (10.00pm). In spite of deducting 50 Rs. the color channel was also not activated. This type of harassment is regular with either mistakes in recharge date or recharging the channels. I wish to take LEGAL actions against them.

Kindly advice on how to proceed and look forward to your earliest assistance.
