I applied for a Airtel Digital TV connection against thier scheme of 999 for the airtel users. I called the customer care 12150 on 18th September and paid the amount through IVR as instructed by the customer care executive. The executive said the instalation will be done within 24-48 hours. He said it will be done by Monday 20th September.
I waited till Monday evening and then called the customer care 12150 to check the status of my connection. They said my customer id is not generated and we will taking the complaint and you will be getting a callback from our backend department in 1 hour.
The same story is repeating again and again everyday. No callbacks from airtel. I called them 20 times for his issue. everytime they take a complaint and no action. I also spoke to 2 of thier supervisor regarding the same and they promised the installation will be done in 24 hours.
I don't understand why they commit something which they can't fulfill. Airtel people if you are looking at this post then please wake up and do something, if you want to keep your image clean.
