I have faced many issues with Airtel services like landline, broadband and DTH.
I am very shameful to say that one of the Indian established company serving the customers in the worst ever possible.
I had recently shifted to new address and I'd to relocate my DTH connection also. I have tried all the ways possible
(7 requests raised but all 7 had been closed as customer is not reaponding; but the engineer called me and asked fir the roadmap to reach my house) to get my connection reinstalled in new address but nothing worked out. Finally I decided to disconnect the service and go for a new provider such as dish tv or Tata sky.
Finally After 14 days I got a call from Delhi number and asked for the reason of disconnection. I told the entire story to them and they said we'll install the dish immediately. At last 15th day the dish was installed.
At that tome I didn't know that this experience with Airtel is not over. The stb worked for 15 days without any issues. Then it started giving problems like there won't be any output signal from the STB. Initially if stb is restarted it used to work fine. I used to this whenever I face this kind of issue. As days running I started facing this issue very often, 5-10 times a day. Soon after the stb stopped working.
I raised a request for the servicing of the stb as soon as the problem started happening too frequently. But so far there is no service done but the request raised by me is automatically getting closed in Airtel database. How a wonder is this for their record sake!!!
Now I frustrated with the services and raised a request to disconnect my connection and do refund the amount in my account. The best part here is they never disconnect the connection also.
They want new customers, they want existing customer to pay, but there won't be any services to them in case any customer needs.
So my friends, if you wanna have a peaceful experience, please do not opt for Airtel services. I am not telling this blind folded, I have experienced this in the past 2 years.
I am not writing this to get the attention of Airtel people so any of the Airtel guys, please do not copy paste you comments here.
