What I have received for a couple of days now from Airtel DTH is the most disgusting and worst I have ever encountered. The ill-fated day that I chose to purchase this product has given me agony and stress.
The product was purchased from a dealer (Sri lakshmi - Hyderabad). The product was installed but the Activation was not done until 76 hours. After the Activation (after a lot of phone calls) the package was incorrect as I paid Rs.1750 (All packages for 3 months). However, I was provided with limited channels which is South Value. I then contacted the dealers again (Kapil - 9949011376, Kiran-9849849000) who have declined to help me and asked me to contact the Customer Care. I contacted the customer care and spoke to Vandana who by the way is deaf to my hearing. However, after a little persuasion she said that the package will be changed by the end of the day all of a sudden. When I asked for a reference number she denied providing me that and then hung up. I then waited for 48 hours and contacted again. This time it was Roshini. A little worse than Vandana she informed that my subscription was changed by the dealer from South Value to South Jumbo and that is the reason my balance now shows negative. I called the dealers back to enquire but no response for the past 3 days.
I am at a stage to destroy the DTH setbox and the dish in front of an audience of all Airtel employees just to prove my disgust towards this company's response to customers grief. I abuse myself everyday for purchasing the product.
I have already taken an oath not to purchase Airtel products in future and will educate everyone to do the same.
I hope this can be resolved sooner before I destroy it.
