An Appco India marketing executive visited us on 26 March and made an offer for RELIANCE BIG TV. Based on some errant explanation by the executive and with an urge to get a BIG TV connection at favorable prices we initially agreed to the proposal of paying INR 1490 for the connection. However we rediscussed the issue on the same day evening again with the marketing executives and clarified our doubts/ understanding.

On 27 March morning we informed Appco Marketing of our decision not to buy the connection. However our cheque was still encashed. We now continue following up for more than 4 weeks to get back the payment.

Furthermore, the sales representatives approched other households in the same apartment and gave a wrong picture of our acceptance and has also duped them. Many of them still continue following up for payment.

The sales representative (Ms Vashali) is not responding to our requests for refund nor are the telephone number provided working. The addresses are not clear.

I hope this information will reach all buyers and also RELIANCE to look at this marketing setup carefully.

I am also looking to address this at a consumer court to claim due compensation for metal trauma, financial loss and lack of service. I welcome any suggestion/ procedure to take this to conusmer forum.
