Sir,
This is to seek support and action, against the illegal construction happening in our building (C-104, G&JU, Green Apts, Pitampura, N. Delhi-34). The new owner of the property is violating the construction laws laid for any additional constructions, renovations carried out in the existing structure laid down by the authorities (DDA).
Following are the guidelines which have been violated completely:
1. Encroachment of common passage (which covers the sewerage pipes of other residents).
2. 100% coverage of the occupancy area, which further allows the owner of the 4th floor to construct 100% on the roof which restricts light/air to other occupants.
3. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets constructed which are not the part of the passed plan of the building.
4. There has been no plan passed to carry on additional construction from the existing occupants or related authorities, which endangers the safety of all other occupants.
Complaints regarding same have been forwarded to relevent authorities. The JE of our area has visited the site however, it has been heard that the owner has bribed the concerned authorities and that they have asked ti expedite the procedure due to existing pressure.
With the existing risk of dengue and malaria there are no measures taken to curb/restrict/avoid such risks at the construction site. A complaint has been lodged however, nothing has been done.
Pls. look into the matter ASAP.
