Being out of work since January I browsed the net and, in May came upon an Indian company that seemed promising, paying $1, 000 pm for traditional Ad Posting. The company was owned by a Mr Pradip BARMAN. I applied online and what struck me as unusual was that this company would accept only bank transfers and Demand Drafts, i.e. instant cash. I ignored this, as all online jobs ask for instant payment.
I paid by Rs.4, 000 by DD, received acknowledgment after a reminder. One of the terms of the contract was that I would receive my work outline, special ID and work details within 24 hours of cash receipt by the company. Nothing has materialised so far. Moreover, on looking through the Scamster list, I found this company's name, Infogle.org there.
They have a sister company advertising the same jobs, www.payformoney.com, run by Ananda BARMAN and Ms Bhaswati BARMAN, in distant Siliguri in the same state.
They too are on the scam list.
