Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have been getting miss calls from the following numbers. Details of the same is given below:
1923066969771 - I got a miss call from this number yesterday at 11:31 a.m. but when I tried to call it says the number does not exist.
923046480693 - I got a miss call from this number today at 09:05 a.m. I called back and a man picked up the phone. He said he is calling from airtel head office and that I have won 25 lacs. He gave me ref # 8991 and asked me to switch off the mobile to check the sim number and to call him back with the first four digits of SIM along with 8991. He also asked me if I had a bank account to which I said No. He then said that he would tell me the procedure to collect the 25 lcs once I called him back with the sim number and the ref #.
Then I called the 100 number and lodged a complaint for the same. Two policemen came to my office and took a hand written letter from me addressed to SHO with the description of the issu. I asked for acknowledgement, but they said that I would have to visit the police station to get the same. Hence they did not give me any ref # or acknwodlegement receipt.
The reason I am submitting this complaint is that the number code that the person was calling me from was from Pakistan.
If you could kindly investigate the matter and offer me a solution so that I do not get such calls in future.
