This group failed to deliver a time restrictive custom website.software application for a business launch. They started out OK, worked while the money was flowing, then disappeared. no communications from the head of the company. All the workers were very responsive, but there is really only one head programmer and he is unreliable. he will make you promises and continuously miss or delay or just disappear, then come back and point fingers at you the client saying you didn't give me what i need. Meanwhile you will have been online trying to communicate with them for weeks every day without fail, emails, Skype, yahoo messenger you name it, no response. Then i personally logged complaints against them to the High Commission of India, the local police for for fraud allegations, and then he responds, he comes back and tells me he is 93% finished and he only needs 2 days. I cant tell you how many times i heard that. And for months he kept all the work local so you could not check or have any idea if he was telling the truth. He keeps the relationship alive through hope. I finally stopped paying through Odesk which is another farce, and hired another group to finish who are excellent at what they do and deliver without question. All in all I hired them Dec 18 they began dec 24/08, they promised 3 weeks deliver i had product waiting to be shipped based on the site, investors standing by, April 15th I ceased communications. I had whatever files completed posted to site, had a third party review which confirmed they had completed less than 50% of the work necessary, It costs me the loss of business credibility, interest charges in the mid 5 figures, preferred pricing and exclusivity with my suppliers, It was the worst online freelance programming experience of my life, and I have had many.
