Billing even after disconnection of services

I, Rohit Kumar, r/o C2C / 2 / 13 Janak Puri, New Delhi-110058, was using Airtel's Post Paid Number 9958922977 till April.

On 28 April-08, i requested Airtel to disconnect my number and they gave me a reference number 19413424 for my complaint. They ensured me that within 5 working days my number will be disconnected.

On 10-may-08 i cleared the bill plus the outstanding amount on my number. In between i received my calls form Airtel's retention department for requesting me to retain my number, but i refused them all giving a valid reason for that.

After 28-April-08 i stopped using the number. To my surprise, i was shocked to see Airtel's bill from 23-April-08 to 22-May-08 deleivered to me. I was like speechless. i immidiately called 9810012345 and talked with a girl called Nisha. She said that its by mistake that i have received the bill and i need not pay this bill. Even on my bill its written disconnected.

I was releived after that.

To make the condition more worse, Airtel delivered another bill from 23-may-08 to 22-june-08 to me. I was shockingly surprised to see a bill for a number, which i got disconnected two months ago.

Pls stop billing me and if possible forgive me for using Airtel. I never knew i would have to pay Airtel even after getting rid from it.
