I have applied for addition of spouse name in the passport at passport office, Hyderabad on 04/06. Currently the status of my application showing as 'Police verification report pending'. I enquired local police and they didnt receive any such request from the passport department. I dont think, police verification is needed for addition of spouse name. Application details are given below. Please do the needful to get the passport at the earliest.
