Changing from post-paid to pre-paid

I want to switch from post-paid to pre-paid connection and I have submitted a form for the same to the airtel office. Airtel has not acted on the request even after a month. The customer support in airtel is a big shit. DO NOT GO FOR POST-PAID CONNECTION WITH AIRTEL. It is big rip-off.
